NASA Announces VIPER Lunar Rover

A four-wheel rover about the size of a golf-cart is set for a 2022 landing to search for water around the south lunar pole over a period of 100 days.

They have changed the launch date to 2023. The postponement of the launch from 2022 to 2023 may be due to both delays in financing the lunar rover itself and the need to develop a sufficiently large landing platform for it.
