"The Space Station now has faster internet (at 600Mbps) than most people on Earth.
After a major new upgrade, the International Space Station can send and receive data at double the speed it previously had. NASA says the update paves the way for similar upgrades on Gateway, the future space station in lunar orbit"

Re: ISS now has highspeed internet
Now, ISS engineers will be able to transmit data in real-time from more than four dozen research missions. To establish communication between the ISS and the Earth, several special tracking and relay satellites were deployed. They send signals to antennas at NASA centers with a delay of less than one second.
