India's second moon probe began to orbit the Moon yesterday, after blasting off a month ago. The orbital manoeuvre took 30 minutes said the Indian Space Research Organisation.
The Indian Prime Minister said the orbital insertion was "an important step in the landmark journey". The craft is due to release a lunar-lander early in September, but some have criticised the mission as a national prestige stunt.
