Bidirectional dc motor speed controller help

Post by JenniferDesuza »

What I am currently thinking is as follows:

Obtain two of the above controllers.

I already got a dinky old (2-axis) analog joystick from a friend. I opened it up and it has one potentiometer for each channel, I thought it could be used for speed control.

The controllers use a potentiometer for the input, the middle position is stopped, and rotating to either side increases the speed. I was thinking of cutting these off and SOMEHOW tie the output of the joystick to here as the input. Is this possible?

I would really appreciate it if someone could offer some advice. Thanks.
