Post by skyhawk »

I WAs going to get this

https://www.rothervalleyoptics.co.uk/al ... stalk.html

Then I saw this

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Full-Metal-T ... 2749.l2649

IT is the SAME, prove me wrong.

STUNNING

came today with fitted and SPARE battery, screwdriver and allen key, instructions and well packed.

It has FOUR points, dot, cross, dot in circle and circle with dot and cross

IT is ALSO switchable between GREEN and RED in FIVE stages.

It also has a well made cover for the glass

Save yourself £23.30, at £16.69 INCLUDING POSTAGE it makes you appreciate just how much we in the UK are being ripped off.

I like to use a laser pen in preference to conventional finders - and always checking that there are no aircraft to annoy in the target area.
The snag is that the pens I use tend to wilt in temperatures below about 8C.

BAN laser pointers, why, because people using them have NO idea that just a few hundred yards or a mile away you are ruining someone elses IMAGING or view of the sky, I consider laser users selfish.

How selfish it is, I have been out, as have other astronomers, imaging for hours only to have work ruined by a LASER pointer

SORRY if I sound annoyed but many a night has been ruined for many by some with lasers who don't think there are others viewing
