Robin asked on the 'Observing' board:

Any preferences, Stella?

There is a difference between predicting the path of a chosen satellite, and trying to identify a
satellite observed unexpectedly.

All the prediction programs given in Robin's posting have their 'pros' and 'cons', so it is up
to individuals to try the various options and pick those that satisfy their requirements.

I use Heavens-Above for plotting the apparent paths among the stars. Others may like
different software such as Stellarium.

To identify unknown satellites you can try IDSAT or Findsat.
