The SUN - 29th June

Post by Cliff »

Nice day but a frustrating very slow drifting cloud which only allowed me to get a few White Light video clips through my 88mm refractor in the afternoon but some interesting Sunspots revealed. One image now attached.
Best wishes from Cliff

How does one score that big "group"? Is it one group with (say) eight spots or two or three groups with fewer spots each?

I personally enjoy imaging the Sun (which can be quite time consuming) but tend to avoid getting involved in in-depth analysis & leave that to others who are more knowledgeable about such matters. So that's my poor excuse for not answering your question.
Best of luck from Cliff
