The SUN -1st June

Post by Cliff »

Another very nice warm day, but hazy sky with thin veil of cloud as well as drifting billowy cloud when I imaged the Sun in White Light in the afternoon.
An image now attached showing the main Sunspot Group now toward middle of the Sun's visible disc, and a new Sunspot Group having just entered the disc in the Sun's E sector.

Bob - Thanks for the comment. I nearly missed noticing the second group myself when I initially perused my images.
I suspect me imaging a bit later in the day helped although I didn't think seeing conditions were brilliant. The second group was a little more obvious on the 2nd June afternoon but seeing conditions still not the best.
Best of luck from Cliff
