Sun September 19th 2021, 1645UT. Very windy, poor seeing.

Finally some clear sky! I could see just the one group, in the southern hemisphere, with two spots (couldn't decide if the big group was split or not).

I saw two spots at first but with a closer look I am sure there were three - borderline maybe? I find the seeing deteriorates in the afternoon. Morning is best. bob

Mon 27 Sep 2021, 1305UT. Snatched a gap in the rain. Very windy - had to observe from indoors through trees.

Two groups south, two and three spots. Very hard to see, given the observing conditions.

Wed 29 Sep 2021, 1125UT. Very windy, observing from indoors once more. Seeing average.

One group N, 8 spots (12880).

Three groups S, 1, 9 (12877) and 1 spot. The western most single spot (12871) was in faculae and close to the western limb. The other singleton (12878) was very hard to see. At times I suspected two spots, but couldn't be sure.

Sun 3rd Oct 2021, 1145UT. Poor seeing.

Managed to catch the Sun, from inside, in a brief gap between the downpours. Seeing poor.

One group north, 5 spots seen.

No sign of other big group, which must have just gone round the limb.

Mon 4th Oct 2021, 1315UT. Very poor seeing.

2 groups N - 1 and 6 spots.

A new group has just come on at the eastern limb and is currently showing just a single spot. In the online images it has that recessed look to it, but I didn't notice this at the telescope (which was rocking in the wind).
