Re: Barnard 33 The Horsehead nebula
I am using a Polemaster for alignment which is pretty good but I do guide with Phd2 for extra control. Thanks for all the comments, first time I had attempted this object, processing the image with Alnitak in the fov was a real test with the combination of a bright star and faint nebulosity.

Re: Messier 103
Would love to see the Jewel Box Brian, a trip to New Zealand is on our list when I retire in 4 years time, going to visit relatives and purchase a telescope whilst there for 3 weeks and explore the wonders of the southern hemisphere.

Perseus Double cluster
An image of the Perseus double cluster, well a portion of it anyway. I could only obtain a few subs as there was a bit too much cloud cover at times

Re: Mars 22 Oct 2020 Eyepiece Sketch
Really impressed with your eyepiece sketches Bob, an art that has suffered from the imaging era. I remember sketching DSOs and something I keep meaning to rekindle.

Re: NGC 7635 The Bubble nebula
Thanks Brian. I really do need to fit the Tri-band filter to the OSC camera to bring more detail out. The filter is still in its box. Next mission is to replace current filter with it and refocus.

Re: Messier 51
Thanks both. I agree Brian, I often look at books I bought in the 1970s and 80s and remember being amazed at the wonderful images contained within. I never would thought that the amateur could obtain the results we do today with very modest equipment in ones own garden with less than favorable seein...
