The NLC season has started, although a lot of sightings have been lost due to cloud cover.  A typical spring!!! <\/p>\n

The first report I received was from Alastair McBeath in Morpeth for the night 11\/12 June. <\/p>\n

This shot was taken by Mike Alexander of the Galloway Astronomy Centre on the 14\/15 June. <\/p>\n

This Display was also seen by Alastair MacBeath in Morpeth. <\/p>\n

Alastair also saw a good display the next night, 15\/16 June. <\/p>\n

Alastair got the next sighting on the 20\/21, quite a weak display this time <\/p>\n

I got my first contact on the 22\/23  from Glenbarry.  It was very weak, like a Y shapped con-trail.<\/p>\n

Alastair saw a weak display on the 24\/25 from Morpeth. <\/p>\n

I saw this display from Glenbarry on the 25\/26. It was quite large, but mostly hidden by cloud, and completely clouded over after 20 mins. <\/p>\n
